Meet the artist

Hello!

My name is Kristin — I was born in Santa Rosa, CA, and raised part time in Sonoma County and part time in the high desert of Arizona. I think that’s why I weave desert themes into my art so often. I find a ton of inspiration in the outdoors, which is where I spend most of my off time. I love hiking, backpacking, and day trips to the coast with my furry friend Rosemary. I was a coloring-book kid for as long as I can remember, always drawing and endlessly curious about creating art. My love for tattoos came from admiring my aunt when I was a young girl — I always looked up to her. She was strong, resilient, outspoken and wonderfully different. She had the coolest body art, and I was completely fascinated by it as a child. I grew up wanting body art myself and became interested in making tattoos my career. That passion followed me through the teenage years and into adulthood. I started building my portfolio in my twenties and landed an apprenticeship in 2020. I’ve been in the industry for six years now, and I genuinely love my job — meeting new people and making connections through tattoos is the best part. Tattooing is a sacred art form, and it’s an honor for me to collaborate with you to create a beautiful, permanent adornment for your body. Neo-traditional and traditional are my favorite styles to tattoo; I enjoy the big bold lines and vibrant color palettes, tattoos that make a statement and stand out. I adore ornamental designs that flow with the body, the heavy black contrast, and color or black-and-grey florals that make for an eye-catching piece. Don’t fret — I also do fineline designs. I have a good number of clients who want dainty, illustrative, or minimalist work, and those pieces are always fun and welcome in my bookings.
